WE LOVE MOSES

“We Love Moses” was Hugo’s first film with writer and director Dionne Edwards and producer Georgia Goggin, the same team that went on to create BBC Film’s “Pretty Red Dress”. The short explores a childhood memory involving the Ella, her brother and his best friend, which left her with a secret she still carries. The film premiered at the London Film Festival 2016, was programmed at Toronto in 2017 and went on to win multiple awards at festivals throughout 2017 and 2018 including the Critics Circle Short Film of the Year.
