The forthcoming Film4 production, “Surviving Earth” is a debut feature from writer and director Thea Gajić. Set in Bristol, the film follows Vlad, a Serbian musician who struggles to maintain balance between the rising success of his band, a strained relationship with his daughter and a history of drug addiction. Alongside the instrumental score, the soundtrack features original Serbian language songs, which are played throughout the film by the protagonist and his band. The film premiered at SXSW 2025 and is set for release later in 2025.
